Melvyn is working on loosening a knot in the right Trapezius superior. -He starts by Effleurage and petrissage to bring blood flow to the area. -Then, to better feel the knot, he uses deeper pressure with the use of his knuckle and isolates the knot. -Once the knot is found, he uses his elbow to apply deep pressure on the knot and surrounding area. -Putting the arm in slight abduction while doing elongation strokes on the Trapezius muscle lightly stretches it. -Internal rotation of the arm and light pressure on the border of the scapula allows to check for good mobility of the bone. -Lastly, faster and lighter stroke are used to end the massage.
